Bunnies In Search of Humans to Love
If you would like to adopt, be sure to read the adoption requirements and application section here.

People often adopt rabbits from other shelters instead of us, saying our rabbits are already being given very good care, and those in other shelters are in greater need. Please remember we do have some very needy rabbits, and every rabbit adopted from us enables us to take in the neediest rabbit from another shelter.

Hoping to adopt? Keep in mind as you look through our rabbits, single rabbits are available only to people looking for a friend for their own single rabbit. We can not pair singles on request for people who have no rabbits already, since the results are unpredictable. For those with no rabbits or an existing pair and wanting another, we always have already proven-compatible pairs available.

Sienna and Chimini

Currently in Foster Care - will be back September 5th

These two adorable little mini-lops were rescued by a group in Wyoming. Then they were taken to our Grand Junction satellite.

Despite the moves these lively youngsters were friendly when they got here and are getting friendlier. “We’re actually glad we got to come to Denver where we can meet some real bunny people”.

Burnette Burnette

Some people offered hutches on Craig’s list, but when the people went to pick them up, they found they contained rabbits. The rabbits had been a 4-H project and it was obvious that the people were simply going to dump them to be eaten by the first predator they encountered. Big, beautful Burnette was one of these. This is one big armful of bunny!

Burnette - DOB:  2009    Weight:  8-1/4 lbs

Farrah

Farrah and another rabbit, Finnegan, were found in a foreclosed home by a house inspector, who took them home and cared for them until we could take them.

Farrah is a lovely, soft bunny - soft in color, soft in fur. She would melt the heart of anyone who gets the privilege of living with her. "Please come in and pet me so we can find out if we are meant to be best friends."

Christine Christine

Looking for all the world like a wise old bunny-soul here, Christine is actually a very young bunny - one of the three pretty little ladies born to a bunny taken to Table Mountain Animal Center. When the new family grew too large for the available space, we brought them here to find their forever homes.

Christine is just like her sisters in that she is every bit as friendly, lively, and curious as they. And like her sisters, she is determined she be the first and luckiest to find herself a home with people who will spoil her and love her and make sure she has all the bunny toys and a bunny boy to play with. "Can I be first? Pick me, you won't be sorry and neither will I!"

Janelle

A woman had established a rescue organization called "Little Bit o’ Love" in Carpenter, WY. Sadly, she had little help, but just couldn’t say "no" to animals who were destined to be killed in animal shelters. Eventually however, there were just too many animals without adequate care. So "Little Bit o’ Love" was shut down.

Janelle was one of the 19 rabbits who came to us from there. She is cautiously friendly; a gentle bunnies with a sweet face, cute ears, and lots of love to give to whoever shows her the love and the attention she so deserves.

Esther Esther

A woman had established a rescue organization called "Little Bit o’ Love" in Carpenter, WY. Sadly, she had little help, but couldn’t say "no" to animals who were to be killed in animal shelters.

Eventually, there were just too many animals without adequate care. So "Little Bit o’ Love" was shut down. Esther was one of 19 rabbits who came from there.

She is missing her left eye, so she can’t see you if you approach her from that side, so she needs you to be mindful of that so she isn't startled. She also has one of those cute little personality quirks we love to see in our bunns and don't mind indulging in the least. For some odd reason, she just loves to sit in one of the large crocks, just a pictured here. She is a little bit little shy, but she does enjoy being petted. "If you decide to love me and take me home with you, will you please be sure to get me a nice big crock so I can feel safe and comfortable?"

Frances

Frances is a very pretty rabbit and quite personable. She was found abandoned in her neighborhood, and finally cornered and caught in somebody's yard.

From there she went to TMAC and then came to us to find herself a home. Frances is a 2008 bunny and weighs 5-3/4 lbs. She is on the look out for a home with a handsome boy bunn who'd like to share a snuggle and a romp with her, while both of them can enjoy the privilege of being beloved house rabbits.

Sterling Sterling

Sterling, this sweet silver boy was a stray, taken to Adams County, and from there, he came to us. We'll bet you can guess where he got his name.

Just like his name implies, he is precious. He is gentle, friendly, easy to handle and a joy to watch. Whoever lost him lost a treasure. Treasure hunters, you won't need a metal detector to find this Sterling sliver bonanza. He's here waiting for you.

Sterling - DOB:  2008    Weight:  3-1/2 lbs

Kearney

Kearney’s people moved, and left him in a box at the front door of a woman who does blood hound rescue - definitely NOT the best place for a rabbit!

The woman managed to keep him from the eager blood hounds until we could take him. Now that he's here, we find him to be calm and fairly friendly - a little cautious perhap,s just in case any blood hounds are around?

Babs Babs

We don’t know how Babs came to be at the Table Mountain Animal Center, but this beautiful Ruby Rabbit came to us from there. Just in case you haven't learned much about Ruby Rabbits yet, Babs urges you to go their Page on our website.

Babs is just a little worried about people, but when she is calmly reassured, she's willing to snuggle. This is going to be a wonderfully rewarding experience for the loving person who can teach her to trust them so she accepts their attentions eagerly.

Babs - DOB:  2007    Weight:  7 lbs

Josie

Currently in Foster Care - will be back Soon

Josie was flown to us from Salt Lake, Utah with other rabbits by “Pilots for Paws,” to save her from being killed. She also arrived, supposedly spayed and micro-chipped. Unfortunately, she was neither. After several months with us, Josie's pen was apparently invaded by an unneutered male, and she gave birth to four beautiful babies. She has weaned them and is now spayed and ready for a hus-bunn and a home!

Lauren Lauren

Lauren was found in a Home Depot parking lot, where she was doing a good job of making herself at home, brave little soul that she is. But OH! The risks she unknowingly faced! Fortunately, a caring woman was able to catch her and bring her to us. Lauren is cautiously friendly; she needs a little time to develop trust in each person she meets.

However, as you can see here, she is keeping herself looking her very, very best, so she is able to charm you and your boy bunny into taking her into your hearts and family. Why, since she's a bit wary? "Because I am a beautiful, brave Ruby Rabbit and I KNOW that I'll soon be able to love and trust you; just take me home and see."

Lauren - DOB:  2008    Weight:  6 lbs
