Our bunnies are looking for the right humans to share their love. They are eager to interview you for the job! If you would like to adopt, be sure to read the adoption requirements and application section. We also have a fostering program in place for those interested in fostering bunnies on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Carlos and Noir are coming out of their teenage stage and turning into sweet bunnies who like human interaction. They came to us as babies from the great New Mexico rescue of 2009 and are about a year old now. Carlos is a deep chocolate brown and about 6 lbs with helicopter lop ears. Noir is a glossy black and weighs about 4 lbs. Like most young rabbits, they are quite active and playful, and looking for a home where they can be the center of attention!
Tiny little grey and white Tammy, 3 lbs, was found abandoned with her six babies in a desert park. Beautiful Coleman, 5 lbs, came from a desperate hoarding situation in New Mexico. While Cole is a bit shy, Tammy is a veritable ray of sunshine! They were introduced because Coleman was so upset when he arrived we thought we might lose him. (He probably left a mate behind in New Mexico.) Tammy brightened up his world and gave him a reason to live. This adorable pair will make a loving and entertaining addition to a human family.
Hi, we’re Blizzard and Tippy, two of Rosie’s sons born 4-30-08. We are medium-sized bunnies at just over 8 lbs each. Our foster mom says we are her therapy rabbits! Anyone lonely or needing company could spend some time with us. Zahara lived with us for awhile until she found a forever home. We helped Easter get over her fear of EVERYTHING.
One thing we have found out is we'd like to be in a home that is quiet, with adults who don't necessarily want to hold us a lot. It's not that we don't like being held, but we want it to happen on our terms. And we like kids, but a lot of shouting can make us nervous.
We really like getting to play outdoors. Sometimes we hold contests to see who can do the fastest laps or who can jump over the other rabbit before he knows what's happening! We like digging holes in the dirt and chewing apple branches and tearing up phone books (it's okay, our mom gives them to us to tear up!) If you would like a couple of big, entertaining, opinionated bunnies, we are the guys for you!
These gorgeous, experienced house rabbits have quite a story. Rosey came to us filthy, terrified, and quite pregnant. Three days after being rescued from under a shed, she gave birth to ten babies. While Rosey was birthing, Kappa Kai, a gorgeous neutered agouti lop, witnessed the violent murder of his three bunny friends by a neighbor dog and cat. Kappa’s human let the rabbits play in the backyard unsupervised and the neighboring predators decided to take advantage of it. Too add insult to trauma, Kappa’s human decided to give him up. In one day he lost all his friends and his home. When Kappa came to us he was so depressed we weren’t sure he was going to make it.
When Kappa was placed in a run next to the exhausted Rosey and her newborns, he hopped the fence and when we found him the next morning, he was snuggled up to Rosey and the babies, providing warmth and comfort. Kappa became a wonderful foster dad and while he helped with the babies, those babies provided the healing he needed to get past his recent trauma. You can see a slideshow of Rosey, Kappa, and the babies here. Slideshow
